Branch & Bramble is searching for a motivated and proactive freelance Email Developer to join our remote team.

The Email Developer is responsible for designing and coding visually appealing and responsive email templates as well as ensuring seamless functionality across various email clients. You will work with our Account Director and other team members to develop and implement email strategies that meet and exceed client expectations and goals.

What We’d Like to See…

• Design and code responsive email templates that align with client brand guidelines. Ensure compatibility and optimal display across various email clients and devices.

• Collaborate with marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and translate them into effective email designs. 

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML and CSS code for email templates. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to email development.

• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve rendering issues, broken links, and other potential problems before deployment.

• Work closely with our Brand Strategist and Account Director to ensure a cohesive and effective email strategy. Communicate effectively to gather requirements and provide updates on project timelines.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in email development. Familiarity with email marketing platforms and tools.

• Proficient in HTML and CSS with a focus on email development best practices. Experience with responsive design techniques and adapting layouts for various devices.

• Experience with ActiveCampaign.

• Strong attention to detail in coding, testing, and quality assurance processes. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve email rendering issues efficiently.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Exemplary communication skills to coordinate with team members on multiple day-to-day priorities.
